Snowflakes

I started up an afghan in the summer time and decided to finish it off for the winter season.  This will be a black and blue background with white snowflakes.

Bear Pride Scarf

I improvised this scarf and after I had made it I think the width is too wide since the scarf is folded.  

But the good thing about it that it would definitely be warm.

Hats

Winter is coming so I figure to make some hats.

Scraps

Here is a blanket that I had made from left over scraps.  

I am surprised how well it turned out.  

The pattern that I got it from was from a very old crochet booklet.

Mom had given me the booklet.  

This pattern is called Kaleidescope.  

Circle Afghan Finished

Phew!  I am so glad the blanket is finally finished.  Give me your thoughts.

The circles blanket

So I decided to continue with the circles afghan which I haven't done in a couple of years ago.  I wanted to finish it and see if I could be able to sell it.  If anyone is interested in the blanket let me know.  I will post the sample tomorrow of it unsewed soon.

BabyChet Website Up

Well I forgotten to post this awhile ago but my baby crocheting website "Baby Chet" is finally up and running.  So I welcome you all to come visit the website and see what you think of it.  I am open to some comments and any questions.    I am very excited with the website and always looking for ways to make the website better.

I am also thinking of working on a monthly show about crocheting and techniques and stuff.  I am wondering if there are crocheting friends out there on google plus.

Camo Hugs and kisses with Baby booties

I got a call from a friend of mine and he wanted me to crochet him baby blanket.  We discussed what patterns and submitted him some patterns he may be interested in.  We went through them together and finally chosen a blanket for his 3 month old nephew.  He placed a deposit for the blanket which gave me some of the materials to start the blanket.

We discussed on colors for the blanket and came up with camouflage.  He told me that his sister would love it.  I had finally finished with the blanket and by that time he was looking for the blanket.  I told him that I was finished with it and have some left over material.  So I made his nephew some booties, which I hope will fit his little feet.  I also bought baby wrapping paper to wrap it with a note and enclosed my Facebook crocheting page.

Another update

Its been a few months that I hadn't updated this blog.  A few things has happened.  For starters I had been extremely busy with college and now finally finished with it and received my diploma.  I had decided to hold off for Bachelors degree for a while.  so now that I have gratudated I have the time to create more projects.

Speaking of projects, I had created some more pages on pinterest.  I think it would be a good idea to expand my talent.

I will continue my website which I worked on.  I have stopped it for a while but I need to get back into the swing of things with it so that I could get it up and running.

An idea equals a business

Well I had an idea what I could do to bring in some money possibly.  I figured that since crocheting baby items are quick and easy, why not create a website for baby stuff only and start selling them this way.  This is a big project for me and working on the website at the moment.  I also added some of the baby stuff on Pinterest as well as other things too such as coasters and and slippers. 

Update

I haven't been crocheting yet this year.  I am going to have to do a jumpstart on it before the holidays come in.  There are a few projects in my trunk that are left undone, which I need to continue working on.  Alot has been happening here.  Especially with school maintaining good grades to receive my associates degree.  I am thinking of going for my bachelors degree.

Christmas Skirt

I love making Christmas stuff, if you haven't noticed.  This is another pattern that I had found online.  The skirt was pretty simple, starting out with a circle and then going back and forth as if it was a regular afghan.  The Holly and and Berries takes a little more work.  Christmas was coming soon and I hadn't finished it so I figured that I would just stop and just leave it like it is.  Not bad for our 4'5" foot christmas tree. 

Table and side table mats

I wanted to be creative with the yarn that I had at that time.  These were the two colors that I had in my trunk.  I thought that table mat and side table mats would be different.  I didn't know much patterns and I didn't even think about to check to see if any patterns that I was looking for the table and side tables but I just went on my own.  This is my own pattern with a simple double crochet across and skipping every other stitch across.  Two simple lines to know that doesn't take make thinking to this. 

Bundle Of Joy

I found this pattern online and took interest in making it.  It is interested how it ended up turning out.  If I remember correctly, the writing square was assembled with the heart border.  I was surprised that this blanket was sold when I was at the Christmas fair when I was trying to sell my crocheting stuff.  I sold this at $100.00. 

Baby Hat and Sweater

My sister was having a baby girl so I figured I would make this hat and sweater for her.  I actually liked how it came out.

Teddy Bunny

This has been an interesting project.  I got this pattern from online.  It was suppose to be a Christmas ornament, but with the yarn that I had it multiplied the size of the project.  I am guessing this project was suppose to be used through cotton thread.

Bag

This is the softest yarn that I had used.  It feels like suede and it was very good yarn to work with and I wish I could remember the yarn because I want to get some more.  The top end closes up as you pull on the strings.

Baby afghan

This was an interesting pattern.  I remember working on single crochet, half crochet, double crochet and the pattern repeats over again.  I forget where I got this pattern from, but I know I got it online somewhere.
