Update

I haven't been crocheting yet this year.  I am going to have to do a jumpstart on it before the holidays come in.  There are a few projects in my trunk that are left undone, which I need to continue working on.  Alot has been happening here.  Especially with school maintaining good grades to receive my associates degree.  I am thinking of going for my bachelors degree.

Christmas Skirt

I love making Christmas stuff, if you haven't noticed.  This is another pattern that I had found online.  The skirt was pretty simple, starting out with a circle and then going back and forth as if it was a regular afghan.  The Holly and and Berries takes a little more work.  Christmas was coming soon and I hadn't finished it so I figured that I would just stop and just leave it like it is.  Not bad for our 4'5" foot christmas tree.

Table and side table mats

I wanted to be creative with the yarn that I had at that time.  These were the two colors that I had in my trunk.  I thought that table mat and side table mats would be different.  I didn't know much patterns and I didn't even think about to check to see if any patterns that I was looking for the table and side tables but I just went on my own.  This is my own pattern with a simple double crochet across and skipping every other stitch across.  Two simple lines to know that doesn't take make thinking to this.

Bundle Of Joy

I found this pattern online and took interest in making it.  It is interested how it ended up turning out.  If I remember correctly, the writing square was assembled with the heart border.  I was surprised that this blanket was sold when I was at the Christmas fair when I was trying to sell my crocheting stuff.  I sold this at $100.00.

Baby Hat and Sweater

My sister was having a baby girl so I figured I would make this hat and sweater for her.  I actually liked how it came out.

Teddy Bunny

This has been an interesting project.  I got this pattern from online.  It was suppose to be a Christmas ornament, but with the yarn that I had it multiplied the size of the project.  I am guessing this project was suppose to be used through cotton thread.

Bag

This is the softest yarn that I had used.  It feels like suede and it was very good yarn to work with and I wish I could remember the yarn because I want to get some more.  The top end closes up as you pull on the strings.

Baby afghan

This was an interesting pattern.  I remember working on single crochet, half crochet, double crochet and the pattern repeats over again.  I forget where I got this pattern from, but I know I got it online somewhere.

Heart Panels

These were suppose to be a 6 heart panel but I made 5 panels because it would look more like a rectangle.  It was an easy quick afghan.  If I remember correctly this only took me two weeks to do.    This is all double crochet except for the border.  I think I did single crochet around the border.

Adult Zigzag Afghan

This was an easy zigzag afghan as each row was the same.  This afghan was specifically requested by someone who lived in North Carolina about 5 years ago.  I had gotten $150.00 for this work.  I actually like the colors on this blanket.

Noah's Ark

This is one of my favorite blankets that I had made.  Noah's Ark.  I had a special request from one of my old coworkers that she wanted the heart on the boat blue and not red because the baby that she was giving it to was a boy.

USA Flag

I liked how this came out.  I didn't expect it to be very heavy.  The red and white stripes were cabled like as the blue were double crochet and were sewed into the flag.  I also had to make all 50 stars as well and sew them into the blanket.

Christmas stuff

This was an interesting wreath that I had made.  It was three strands, each strand you crocheting in a circle so that each strand has that tube image.  After each strand is made, it is braided.  Oh and don't forget to add the berries for it.  The bow and bells were made separately which I had worked on my own.

One of Vanna White's patterns which I made.  I never measured this garland, however, it was pretty long.

Christmas table and mats.  I like this pattern which I found online.  Great for Christmas.  I must make a few of them and see if I could sell them.  In fact, I might make a bunch of them and send them for my aunts.

Pastel Zigzag

I love these pastel colors that came out on this blanket.  Yes, again I had gave it to my sister's kids.  I give many things to my kids, however, it doesn't mean that I don't sell my stuff either.  I try to sell my stuff during the holidays.

Baby boy's blanket

Another blanket which I had made for my sister's kids.  It was his birthday so I decided to to make one very quick.  This is a square blanket.

Christmas Coasters

These were pan warmers that I had made and had given to my mother.  I had to create plain square so I could add to the back of it so the messy bits doesn't show.  I then single crocheted them together.

Girly Blanket

I had found this pattern from online that I had to make for my neice several years ago.   I can't remember the pink yarn made from but I think it was a german type of yarn, however, the white was made out of Red heart.  This was a fun pattern to work on.

Leather Pride

This is a symbol of leather pride in the gay community.  I had sketched this out on my own.  It is the size of a table mat.  The heart is also crochet in this project.

Peppermint Coast

This was a difficult pattern to figure out.  I had to ask a few people about this pattern and they also couldn't figure it out.  Once i got the hang of the pattern I could make a dozen without any problems.  This was make out of Red heart.

Katie's Bag

I have an online friend on youtube and she is always sending her friends out gifts like postcards, magnets, and so on.  She is such a sweet person that I decided that I would think of something nice for her to do.

Yep, I decided to make her a purse from one of my books.  It was something that I kept looking at but wasn't sure if I would ever make one but i did.  As you could see they were made with a bunch of granny squares.

After I finished with the bag, There was a lot of holes in side of the bag that could fall out from the bag so I decided to use one of my old fabrics and start sewing up to make it more presentable.

She really loves it.  Its something that she never had someone do for her.  I am glad she enjoys it and I'm sure she would use it for something useful.

Colorful kids afghan

This lovely color afghan is made for a kid to play on.  I had made this for my cousin in Ireland who was expecting a baby and since my aunt and uncle (her parents) were here in the U.S. for a visit, she brought that back with her to give to my cousin.  They thought it a beautiful idea.

I got this pattern from one of Vanna White's books.

Crochet Curtains

When we moved into our apartment, we couldn't afford to buy some curtains and I had some leftover yarn laying around the house so I crochet some curtains for one of the bedrooms.

Sleeping Boy Christmas Stocking

I had some spare yarn with this.  the red part of the Christmas stocking is very soft.  I forget what the yarn is made from but it was thin and soft.  This is a very big stock like 20 inches long.  I use it for decorations to hang up on the wall.

Fan Afghan

Single crochet square fans.

Putting the blanket together.

I had placed this to be sold for $250.00 and I was surprised that this blanket was sold.  It is made through red heart.  The guy who bought it told me that it wasn't the colors that he wanted but I told him if he wanted me to make the colors he wanted I could do that.  But he took this one.  I had fun working on this fan afghan.  Each fan were squares and the fan itself had some sort of cable on them. fun blanket.

Stuffed Teddy Bears

I had fun creating these bears.  I had actually sold a few of them for $40.00 a teddy.  These two teddy bears were made through two strands of yarn.  I think each teddy we created within two days.  Not bad.

I also had to modify a pattern of this.  From the original pattern it was suppose to for where the back of the teddy bears back opens so the child could throw the blanket in the body of it.

Christmas Runner

Wow my mother certainly loved this Christmas runner.  Come to think of it, I really liked it too.  I had to modify it because the pattern was slightly different.  There were suppose to be some sort of bows or something at each corner of the square which I had left out.  I tell ya, red green, white, and grey works well together.  If you are running out of ideas, this is a nice gift for your loved one.

Tooth Fairy Pillow

My nephew was being born and I wanted to do something special for him.  So I found this cute pattern which made a tooth fairy pillow where you could slip money in the pocket in the front.

Sage Afghan

I love working with shells and cables.  These were made with 6 panels, working with a white background.  I had made the panels longer than others but I had managed to even them out.

Sweet Baby Boy

I really enjoyed this baby blanket.  Its a pattern that I had gotten off online.  I am debating on making a different one with different writing.  I am surprised that I had sold this blanket for $100.00 I believe. I can't remember.  But I do suggest other people to try out this pattern.  It was so much fun.

Shamrock Throw

I had trouble selling this but I did happen to give it away to a dear friend of mine.  Marcia was certainly surprised about the blanket for Christmas 2010, and the scarf that I had made for her daughter, which I hope that her daughter has been wearing it.  I must ask her.

Granny Square Afghan

This is a granny afghan that I had finished up last year.  I still have it and it still up for sale.  I may just give it away for someone who would take in consideration of the beauty of craft, especially someone who made something.

This Santa ornament is 12 inches high and only took a couple of hours to do for me to make.  I had given it to my mother along with other knick knacks as a Christmas present.  I knew she didn't have much Christmas stuff since she moved out of her Arizona house and back into an apartment.  This yarn was made out of red heart.
